About Joanna McFarlane
Robin Brett Wechsler is staff nutritionist at Modern Menus. Ms. Wechsler holds a Master of Science in Nutrition Communication from Tufts University and a Master of Public Health from Boston University.
Prior to her work at Modern Menus, Ms. Wechsler contributed to the development of a cardiovascular health statewide action plan at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. She also worked on the 5 A Day for Better Health program at the National Cancer Institute, reviewing nutrition and physical activity materials and responding to consumers’ requests for information. In addition, Ms. Wechsler has experience working for various not-for-profits that focus on both community and international public health issues.
Ms. Wechsler is passionate about educating people on health and nutrition matters. She is committed to ensuring that families learn to make sound nutritional choices for their particular health needs. Through Modern Menus, Ms. Wechsler hopes to offer new and simple ideas for healthy cooking.
